This is a duck egg hand painted by artist Marieth Huszakne in Hungary. It is a real egg and measures 7-1.2 inches from the top hole going acroos the egg until one reaches the hole again. Meaured differently, the egg is 3-3/4 inches high. The egg is sold without stand.

 

It comes in a white box on which is printed in gold:"The decorated egg is a symbol of eternal friendship. It stands for the renewal of faith in a relationship and implies a great deal of love.
