The assorted mulberry-papered picture frame (7-3/4” x 6-1/4”) and picture album can hold 3” x 5” pictures. The paper frame can be used either horizontally or vertically; the picture album holds 20 pictures. Environmentally friendly, the frame is papered from the bark peeled from the mulberry tree so that the trees continue to flourish. After the sheets of paper are dried, they are dipped in a vegetable or other dye to obtain the basic color.  The paper is subsequently hand decorated using the batik (wax and dye) technique.
