This beige mulberry-papered picture frame (7 ¾” x 6 ¼”) holds 3” x 5” picture and can be used either horizontally or vertically. Environmentally friendly, the frame is papered from the bark peeled from the mulberry tree so that the trees continue to flourish. After the sheets of paper are dried, they are dipped in a vegetable or other dye to obtain the basic color.  The paper is subsequently hand decorated using the batik (wax and dye) technique.
